The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the notification for the Class 12th Scrutiny and Compartmental Examination 2025. Students dissatisfied with their marks can apply for scrutiny (re-checking), while those who have failed in one or two subjects can appear in the compartmental examination to save their academic year.

Eligibility Criteria
Scrutiny:
Students who passed but are unhappy with marks in any subject.
Can apply for one or multiple subjects.
Compartmental:
Students who failed in maximum two subjects in the main exam.
Not eligible if failed in more than two subjects.
Exam Pattern for Compartmental Exam
Syllabus & Pattern: Same as regular board exam
Mode of Exam: Offline (pen and paper-based)
Medium: Hindi/English
Subjects: Only those selected for re-appearing
Marking & Evaluation: Conducted as per BSEB guidelines
