AIIMS Deoghar Recruitment 2025: Project Assistant & Data Entry Operator Vacancies

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Deoghar, has invited applications for the recruitment of Senior Project Assistant and Data Entry Operator on a purely temporary basis. This recruitment is for a research project titled “Evaluating the Effectiveness of a Community-based Peer-led Intervention (CPLI) in preventing Substance use among Adolescents”, which is being funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

The project will be supervised by Dr. Sudip Bhattacharya, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine & Family Medicine at AIIMS Deoghar. The total duration of the project is 11 months, extendable up to 3 years, depending on the candidate’s performance and project requirements.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

1. Senior Project Assistant

• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate in Science or relevant subject from a recognized university with three years of work experience in Public Health
    OR
  • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, or related disciplines.
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
• Experience & Preference:
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in community-based research or public health data handling.

2. Data Entry Operator

• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
  • Must have knowledge of data entry work
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Degree in any discipline
  • Degree in Biostatistics
  • Experience in research projects
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a relevant field
• Age Limit: Maximum 30 years

Pay Scale

• Senior Project Assistant: Rs. 30,600 per month (consolidated)
• Data Entry Operator: Rs. 29,200 per month (consolidated)

The salaries are fixed and non-negotiable, and no other benefits or allowances are applicable.

Selection Process

2. Interview / Written Test: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the walk-in interview or written test at AIIMS Deoghar. The precise schedule and venue details will be shared with candidates through email.
