Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (as on 01.01.2026)
For Tax Assistant:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
- Must have a data entry speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour
- Data Entry Skill Test is mandatory
For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):
- Matriculation/Equivalent from a recognized Board/Council
Sports Eligibility
Candidates must meet any one of the following sports categories:
Category 1:
- Represented State or Country in National/International competition
- Medal winner in Junior National Championships, Khelo India Youth Games (18+), Khelo India Winter Games, Khelo India Para Games, Khelo India University Games, or School Games Federation of India (SGFI)
Category 2:
- Represented University in Inter-University Tournaments conducted by Inter-University Sports Boards
Category 3:
- Represented State School Teams in National Sports/Games for Schools conducted by All India School Games Federation
Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria including age, educational qualification, and sports achievements.

Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in multiple stages:
- Scrutiny of Applications: Verification of eligibility, certificates, and sports achievements.
- Written Examination: Shortlisted candidates appear for the exam.
- Data Entry Skill Test (Tax Assistant only): Must achieve 8,000 key depressions/hour.
- Document Verification: Submission of original certificates.
- Medical Examination: Conducted by O/o Pr. CCIT, Gujarat.
- Police Verification: Verification of residence and background.
- Final Appointment: Based on eligibility, written exam, skill test, document verification, medical clearance, and police verification.
