Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed SSLC (10th standard).
- Possession of ITI National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade is mandatory.

Each post requires an ITI certificate in the respective trade, such as Sheet Metal Worker, Welder, Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic Diesel, Machinist, Painter, Plumber, Instrument Mechanic, Electronic Mechanic, Crane Operator (Electrical), or Shipwright Wood/Carpenter.
Experience Requirement
- A minimum of three years post-qualification experience or training in the relevant trade is compulsory.
- Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, is considered valid experience for eligibility purposes.
- Experience gained after acquiring the prescribed qualification only will be counted.
Candidates currently working as Fabrication Assistants or Outfit Assistants on CSL rolls are not eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- SC / ST: 5 years

Salary Scale (Numerical Format)
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration as detailed below:
- Base Monthly Salary: ₹23,300
- Extra Work Compensation: Up to ₹5,830 per month
Candidates possessing experience beyond the minimum required three years, particularly in CSL or similar shipyards, may be offered higher consolidated pay based on completed years of relevant experience.
The remuneration is fixed and consolidated, and no additional benefits such as pension, gratuity, or leave encashment will be applicable.
Selection Process
