Educational Qualifications & Experience

1. Information Communication and Technology (ICT)

• Chief Manager
  • Qualification: First Class B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant IT specialization.
  • Desirable: Post Graduate degree in Computer Science & Engineering / IT.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years in executive cadre in programming, electronic data processing, network/system design & analysis or related IT fields.
  • Desirable Experience: Port or shipping sector experience.
• Senior Manager
  • Qualification: Same as Chief Manager.
  • Experience: Minimum 9 years.
• Manager
  • Qualification: Same as Chief Manager.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years.
  • Desirable Experience: Port or shipping sector experience.

2. Business Development and Trade Promotion

• Chief Manager
  • Qualification: Any recognized degree with Post Graduate Degree/MBA or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Professional qualification from Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers or Institute of Chartered Logistics and Transport (not honorary membership).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in business development and trade promotion, preferably in service/public/private sector.
  • Desirable Experience: Port or shipping sector.
• Senior Manager
  • Qualification: Same as Chief Manager.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years.
• Manager
  • Qualification: Same as Chief Manager.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years.
  • Desirable Experience: Port or shipping sector.

3. Environment Planning and Safety

• Chief Manager
  • Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering / Environmental Law.
  • Desirable: Post Graduate Diploma in Safety Engineering / Industrial Health.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in environmental assessment/regulations.
  • Desirable Experience: Port/shipping sector or infrastructure/heavy engineering.
• Senior Manager
  • Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Safety Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in industrial/marine safety.
  • Desirable Experience: Port/shipping sector or infrastructure/heavy engineering.
• Manager
  • Qualification required: Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in environmental assessment/regulations.
  • Desirable Experience: Port/shipping sector or infrastructure/heavy engineering.

4. Corporate Legal

• Manager
  • Qualification: Degree in Law from a recognized university.
  • Desirable: Master’s degree in Corporate/Maritime Law.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in the legal department of a corporate organization.
  • Desirable Experience: Port/shipping sector.
  • Practicing experience as an Advocate will be an advantage.

Pay Scale

The remuneration will be provided as a consolidated monthly salary, determined based on the specific position.

• Chief Manager: Rs. 2,00,000/-
• Senior Manager: Rs. 1,60,000/-
• Manager: Rs. 1,20,000/-

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be made through a transparent process comprising:

• Evaluation based on Educational Qualifications (60%)
• Work Experience (30%)
• Personal Interview (10%)
