Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Company under the Ministry of Defence, invites applications for temporary positions of Trainee Engineer-I (Electronics) and Project Engineer-I (Electronics) at its Kotdwara Unit. Selected candidates may be posted at project locations across India, including the North East.

1. Trainee Engineer-I (Electronics) – 150 Posts

2. Project Engineer-I (Electronics) – 100 Posts

• Reservation:

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC-NCL: 3 years
• PwBD (40% or more disability): Additional 10 years

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Essential: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) in:
  • Electronics
  • Electronics & Communication
  • Electronics & Telecommunication
  • Communication & Telecommunication

Experience (For Project Engineer-I only)

• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification industrial experience
• Teaching/research/internship experience not considered

Salary Structure

Trainee Engineer-I (TE-I)

• 1st Year: Rs. 30,000/month
• 2nd Year: Rs. 35,000/month
• 3rd Year (if extended): Rs. 40,000/month

Project Engineer-I (PE-I)

• 1st Year: Rs. 40,000/month
• 2nd Year: Rs. 45,000/month
• 3rd Year: Rs. 50,000/month
• 4th Year (if extended): Rs. 55,000/month

Additional Benefits:

• Annual allowance of Rs. 12,000
• Retention bonus for Project Engineers (Rs. 1,00,000 after 4 years)

Selection Process

For Trainee Engineer-I

• Written Test (100 marks)
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • General/EWS/OBC-NCL: 35%
  • SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer

For Project Engineer-I

• Written Test + Interview
• Same qualifying marks as above
