Eligibility Criteria

Essential Educational Qualifications

• Ph.D. in the relevant area of specialization.
• First Class in preceding degrees (B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent).

Desirable Specializations

• The preferred areas of specialization are listed in Annexure II, available on the institute website.
• The institute reserves the right to consider candidates from any relevant area of specialization based on departmental needs.

Experience Requirement

• Candidates may or may not have post-Ph.D. experience for the post in Pay Level 10.
• However, a strong research profile, publications, and academic performance will be evaluated during the selection process.

Category Certificates

• Candidates applying under OBC (NCL) and EWS categories must produce a valid category certificate issued on or after 1st April 2024.
• Reservation benefits will be extended only if all required certificates are submitted as per rules.

Reapplication Clause

• Candidates who have already appeared two or more times before the selection committee for the same post under previous advertisements dated 15/03/2023, 18/09/2023, 15/03/2024, and 17/09/2024, need not apply again.

Salary and Pay Scale

• Designation: Assistant Professor Grade-II
• Pay Level: Level 10 (Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 98,200) as per the 7th CPC
