AYUSH Medical Officer Recruitment 2025 under RBSK Program by CMO Etah, NHM Uttar Pradesh

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Etah, under the District Health Committee and the National Health Mission (NHM), Uttar Pradesh, has released an official recruitment notification (Advt. No.: CMO/NSM/Contractual/2025-26/2 dated 22.04.2025) for the contractual engagement of AYUSH Medical Officers. The recruitment will be under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) program, and the opportunity is exclusively available for SC (Scheduled Caste) female candidates. ​

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following educational and professional experience criteria:

1. Ayurveda Medical Officer

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurveda from a university established by law in India.
  • Registration: Candidates must be registered with the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months’ experience in any government or private Ayurvedic/Allopathic hospital or dispensary.
  • Desirable Qualification: MD (Ayurveda) will be given preference.

2. Unani Medical Officer

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Unani Tibb from a recognized university established by law in India.
  • Registration: Applicants must hold valid registration with the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months’ experience in any Unani/Allopathic hospital or dispensary.

3. Homeopathy Medical Officer

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Degree in Homeopathy with at least 5 years duration, or
    • Candidates must possess a Diploma in Homeopathy of at least 4 years duration from a recognized institution.
  • Registration: Must be registered with the Homeopathy Medical Council.
  • Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a relevant hospital or dispensary setting.

Pay Scale / Remuneration

Selected candidates will receive a monthly honorarium of ₹32,000 for the entire duration of the contractual period. No other benefits such as allowances, pension, or increments will be applicable.

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age Limit: 62 years as of the date of notification (22.04.2025).
  • Age relaxation is not specified since the post is reserved for SC female candidates only.
  • Candidates exceeding the age limit will not be considered eligible.

Selection Process

The selection will be made purely on a contractual basis. The selection process will comprise the following steps:

  1. Document Screening: Applications will be screened for completeness and eligibility based on educational qualifications, experience, and relevant certificates.
  2. Interview: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are shortlisted after preliminary screening will be invited to attend an interview as part of the final selection process.
  3. Merit Preparation: Merit will be prepared out of 85 marks, based on qualifications and experience.

    • Relevant experience certificates
    • Registration certificate from the respective Medical Council
    • Caste certificate (for SC category verification)
    • Recent passport-sized photograph
  3. Ensure all information is accurate and legible.
  4. Place all documents in an envelope and clearly mention the following on the envelope:
    • Name of the Post (e.g., Medical Officer – Ayurveda)
    • Name of the Program (RBSK)
  5. Send the completed application to the Chief Medical Officer, Etah, Uttar Pradesh by Registered Post.
