Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Limited (KMRCL) operates as a Central Public Sector Undertaking functioning under the administrative control of the Ministry of Railways. Eligibility

Pay Scale Eligibility

Applicants must be officers currently working in one of the following pay levels:

  • Central Government CDA Pay Level-11: Rs. 67,700 to Rs. As per the salary framework established under the 7th Central Pay Commission, the amount stands at ₹2,08,700
    OR
  • Industrial DA Pay Scale (IDA): Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 2,00,000 under the 3rd PRC (E4 grade or equivalent)

Service Background

Applicants should be from one of the following services:

  • Officers currently assigned to the HR/Personnel Division of Indian Railways.
  • Officers working in the Railway Board within the RBSS cadre.
  • Officers from Railway PSUs or other Central PSUs with equivalent experience in HR functions

Age Limit

  • The age of applicants must not be more than 55 years as of July 1, 2025.

Medical Fitness

  • Applicants should be mentally sound and physically fit to carry out the responsibilities of the role.

Disciplinary Record

  • Applicants must be free from any SPE/Vigilance cases
  • Candidates should not be included in any Secret or Agreed Lists.

Salary

The selected officer will be entitled to:

  • Parent Pay (i.e., the current salary being drawn in the parent organization)
  • Plus Deputation Allowance
  • Plus Perks and Benefits as per KMRCL’s HR rules and policies

Selection Process

  • Initial Screening: Applications received through the proper channel will be screened for eligibility.
  • Vigilance/Integrity Clearance: Verification of disciplinary records and performance reports (APARs) over the past five years.
  • Applications will only be considered by KMRCL if they are forwarded and endorsed by the Ministry of Railways
  • Interview (if required): Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interaction/interview, subject to KMRCL’s discretion.
