Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit

• General: Up to 30–40 years (varies by post).
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: +5 years
  • OBC: +3 years
  • PwD: +10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: +5 years

Crucial Date: Age calculated as of April 10, 2025.

2. Educational Qualifications

• Senior Biochemist:
  • M.Sc. in Biochemistry + 5 years’ lab experience.
  • Desirable: Ph.D. and PubMed-indexed publications.
• Clinical Psychologist:
  • M.Phil in Clinical Psychology + RCI registration.
• Medical Physicist (Nuclear Medicine):
  • M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine + AERB Level-2 certification.

Experience: Mandatory for most roles (e.g., 3–5 years in relevant fields).

Pay Scale

Posts are categorized under Level 10 and 11 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC):

• Level 11 (₹67,700–2,08,700): Senior Biochemist, Senior Chemist.
• Level 10 (₹56,100–1,77,500): Biochemist, Clinical Psychologist, Welfare Officer.

Allowances: DA, HRA, TA as per central government norms.

Selection Process

A three-stage merit-based process:

1. Stage I: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

• Pattern: 200 MCQs (160 subject-specific + 40 General English/Aptitude).
• Duration: 3 hours.
• Marking: +1 for correct, -0.33 for incorrect.

2. Stage II: Document Verification

• Shortlisted candidates (5x vacancies) must upload:
  • Educational/experience certificates.
  • Caste/PwD/EWS certificates.
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer (if applicable).

3. Stage III: Interview

• Weightage: 50 marks.
• Final Merit: CBT (150 marks) + Interview (50 marks).

Tiebreaker: Higher CBT score > Older age.
