NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a company fully owned by NTPC Ltd., is at the forefront of India’s shift towards using more renewable energy sources. With an ambition to have 60 GW of installed renewable energy capacity by the year 2032, NGEL is dynamically increasing its presence in solar, wind, and green hydrogen initiatives throughout the country. In aid of its expansion, NGEL is soliciting applications from veteran professionals for fixed-term positions in engineering, finance, HR, IT, and allied areas.
These roles will be based at NGEL’s Corporate Office or project locations across multiple states, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Engineer (RE – Civil)
- Qualification: B.Tech/BE in Civil Engineering with 60% marks (50% for ST/SC/PwBD)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years
- Age Limit: 30 years
2. Engineer (RE – Electrical)
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BE/B.Tech) with a minimum of 60% marks; a relaxation to 50% is applicable for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years
- Age Limit: 30 years
3. Engineer (RE – Mechanical)
- Qualification: B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD); ME/M.Tech preferred
- Experience: Minimum 3 years
- Age Limit: 30 years
4. Executive (RE – HR)
- Educational Requirement: A Bachelor’s degree along with a two-year full-time Postgraduate Degree or MBA in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Personnel Management, or Social Work, securing at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years
- Age Limit: 30 years
5. Executive (RE – Finance)
- Qualification: CA/CMA
- Experience: Minimum 1 year (excluding articleship)
- Age Limit: 30 years
6. Engineer (RE – IT)
- Academic Qualification: BE/B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 60% marks; candidates from SC, ST, or PwBD categories require a minimum of 50%.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years

7. Engineer (RE – Contract & Material)
- Qualification: BE/B.Tech in any stream with:
- PG Diploma in Material Management/Supply Chain/MBA/PGDBM, or
- ME/M.Tech in Renewable Energy

- Work Experience: At least one year of professional experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Age Limit: 30 years
Age Relaxation:

Salary and Benefits
- Approximate CTC: ₹11,00,000/- per annum
(includes fixed and variable components; may vary by location and experience) - Contract Period: 3 years initially; extendable up to 2 more years based on performance and organizational needs
Selection Process
The selection will be based on the following three stages:
