Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Maharatna PSU under the Government of India, has opened its doors to seasoned engineering professionals for 20 lateral positions at its Electronics Division (EDN) in Bangalore. Grade-Wise Distribution

• There are 13 openings for the role of Senior Engineer (E2) with a pay scale ranging from ₹70,000 to ₹2,00,000.
  • The roles are available in areas like Power Electronics, Embedded Hardware, FPGA Design, and ACC Cell Development.
• 3 positions available for Deputy Manager (E3) offering a salary between INR 80,000 and 2,20,000.
  • Roles: Embedded RTOS Software Lead, FPGA Team Lead.
• Manager (E4): 4 vacancies (Pay Scale: INR 90,000–2,40,000).
  • Roles: System Architect, PCB Team Lead.
• There are 4 openings for Senior Manager (E5) with a pay scale ranging from INR 1,00,000 to 2,60,000.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications

• Essential: Full-time BE/B.Tech in relevant disciplines (Electrical, ECE, Mechanical, Chemical, etc.) from an AICTE-recognized university.
• Desirable: ME/M.Tech in specialized fields (Power Electronics, Embedded Systems, etc.) for advanced roles.

2. Experience Requirements

• E2: Minimum 5 years in Power Electronics, Embedded Systems, or Battery Design.
• E3: Minimum 9 years in RTOS Software or FPGA Team Leadership.
• E4: Minimum 12 years in System Architecture or PCB Design.
• E5: Minimum 15 years in High-Power IGBT Modules or Strategic Project Leadership.

3. Age Limit (as of 01 February 2025)

• The upper age limit for this position is 32 years, with relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwD candidates.
• E3: 36 years (Additional 5 years for J&K domicile candidates from 1980–1989).
• E4: 39 years (ME/M.Tech holders get age relaxation equal to course duration, up to 2 years).
• E5: 42 years (Extra experience-based relaxation: 1 year per additional year of experience, max 2 years).

Pay Scale and Benefits

• Basic Pay: Selected candidates start at the minimum of the pay scale.

Selection Process
