BSPHCL Recruitment 2025: Consultant (Forest) Post – Walk-In Interview

Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited (BSPHCL) has released a notification for the contractual engagement of a Consultant (Forest) to support forest-related clearances and coordination in power infrastructure projects across the state. This is a walk-in interview opportunity, especially for retired forest officers with significant experience.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• Candidate must be retired from the post of Chief Conservator of Forest (CCF) from:
  • State Government / Central Government, or
  • Central / State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
• Must have a minimum of 20 years of experience in the forest sector.

Age Limit (as on 31.03.2025):

• Maximum Age Limit: 62 years

Salary and Benefits

• Remuneration: Last Pay Drawn minus Pension and Dearness Allowance (DA), as per company norms.
• Traveling Allowance: Equivalent to ESE (Executive Service Engineer) grade of BSPHCL.
• Other Benefits:
  • No other allowances or terminal benefits.
  • Medical fitness certificate is mandatory.

Contract Duration

• Initial Engagement: 3 years
• Extension: May be extended for 2 more years or up to the age of 67 years, whichever is earlier, based on performance and requirement.

Selection Process

• Mode of Selection: Walk-in Interview
• Applicants will be assessed on the basis of their educational background, professional experience, and how well they perform during the interview process.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Forest and Environment Department for clearances and land acquisition in forest and mountainous areas for BSPHCL and its subsidiary companies.
• Assist Chief Engineers and officers in resolving challenges in project execution.
• Provide expert advice and implement directions from management for timely project completion.

Documents Required

Candidates must bring original and photocopies of the following:

• Duly filled application form with recent passport-size photo
• Medical Fitness Certificate (from Civil Surgeon / Assistant Civil Surgeon / Medical Officer, BSPHCL)
• Pension Payment Order (PPO) and Last Pay Certificate
• Affidavit before Executive Magistrate stating:
  • No major punishment for financial irregularity or misconduct during service
  • No pending judicial or departmental case
  • No court punishment
  • Integrity is beyond doubt
