The Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is inviting applications for the post of Joint Director (Finance & Accounts). Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Maximum 56 years as of the closing date (18th April 2025)

Educational Qualification

• A graduation degree in any field from a recognized university is required.

Work Experience

The candidate must be a serving officer from Central Government, State Government, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, or Union Territory Administration, meeting one of the following criteria:

• Currently holding a similar post (Level-13) on a regular basis
  OR
• Having at least 3 years of regular service in Pay Level-12 (₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200)

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Budget Planning & Management
• Procurement & Contract Scrutiny (including GeM transactions)
• Auditing & Compliance as per Government Rules
• Payroll Processing & Employee Benefits Handling
• Proficiency in Computerized Accounting Systems

Pay Scale & Benefits

• Pay Level: Level-13 (₹1,23,100 – ₹2,15,900) per month
• Allowances: As per Central Government norms (DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, etc.)
• Medical Benefits: Covered under the Contributory Health Services Scheme (CHSS)
• Other Perks: Benefits as per ADA and Government of India rules

Selection Process

The selection will be based on deputation rules as per Government of India guidelines. The process involves:

1. Screening of Applications – Based on eligibility criteria
2. Evaluation of APARs (Annual Performance Appraisal Reports) for the Last 5 Years
3. Verification of Vigilance Clearance & Other Credentials
4. Final Selection by ADA’s Competent Authority

The ADA reserves the right to relax certain criteria in exceptional cases.

Step 1: Prepare Required Documents

• APARs of Last 5 Years (2020-2024 or 2019-2023)
• Vigilance Clearance Certificate
• Educational Qualification & Experience Certificates

Each page of APARs must be attested by a Group ‘A’ officer (Pay Level-10 or above).

Step 2: Obtain Counter-Signature from Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA)

The application must be forwarded through the proper channel and signed by the Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA).
