Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply?
This post is open to Central/State Government employees and PSU employees who meet the following criteria:
- Government Employees:
- Must be working in an analogous grade (Level-8) in a relevant discipline OR
- Holding a substantive post in Level-7 in a relevant discipline.
- PSU Employees:
- Must be working in an analogous grade in a relevant discipline OR
- Must have at least 4 years of experience in the ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000 (IDA) (E1) grade.
Work Experience Required
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) or a related security agency.
Key Responsibilities of Jr. Manager (Security)
- Security Supervision & Protection:
- Oversee security arrangements within the assigned jurisdiction.
- Supervise DGR staff and ensure smooth coordination.
- Protect DFCCIL property from theft and damage.
- Law Enforcement & Crime Prevention:
- Liaise with State Police and Railway Protection Force (RPF) for security measures.
- Investigate and analyze security threats within railway operations.
- Collect and disseminate crime intelligence for proactive security planning.
- Surveillance & Risk Management:
- Monitor and analyze CCTV footage for security breaches.
- Conduct inspections and audits of security arrangements.
- Administrative & Coordination Work:
- Maintain security records, statistics, and reports.
- Ensure smooth coordination with railway and security officials.
