he Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) is inviting applications from eligible and experienced finance professionals for six (06) vacancies in the Finance Department on a deputation basis. The positions are available across Chennai (South Zone), Mumbai (West Zone), and Kolkata (East Zone), with two vacancies in each location.

This recruitment is open to Railway employees, State/Central Government officials, candidates from Government Autonomous Bodies like CRIS, and PSU professionals. Interested candidates must submit their applications through the proper channel before April 15, 2025.

Vacancy Details

IRCTC has announced a total of 120 vacancies in its Finance Department, distributed as follows:

• Duration of Deputation: Three years or until IRCTC is exempted from the Immediate Absorption Rule, whichever is earlier.

Salary & Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive Parent Pay + Deputation Allowance (for CDA pay scale) or Parent Pay + Other Allowances (for IDA pay scale) as per IRCTC policy.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications based on their employment background:

• For candidates from Railways, State/Central Government, or Autonomous Bodies (like CRIS):
  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
• For PSU candidates:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost & Management Accountant (CMA)

Work Experience

• Proficiency in Finance & Accounts operations is required.
• Candidates must have working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
• Experience in handling financial activities related to IRCTC’s key business areas such as:
  • Catering
  • Tourism
  • Rail Neer
  • Taxation
  • Internet Ticketing & e-Catering
  • Budget Hotels & Infrastructure Projects

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of:

1. Screening of Applications: Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility and experience.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview (date to be announced later).
3. Document Verification: Final selection will be subject to verification of original documents.
