Salary and Benefits

• Pay Scale: ₹60,000 – 1,80,000/- (IDA) + allowances + Performance-Related Pay (PRP)
• Other Benefits: Variable DA (49.6%), HRA (9%-27% depending on location), medical benefits, EPF & pension scheme, gratuity, welfare schemes, leave encashment, mobile phone allowance, and other company benefits.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (as of April 1, 2025):

Candidates must have a full-time graduate degree (minimum 60% marks) in any of the following specializations from an AICTE-approved institute/university:

• Electronics Engineering
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

Experience Requirements (as of April 1, 2025):

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in relevant areas such as:

• Electronic Interlocking, Relay Interlocking, and Automatic Signaling
• Design of SIPs, Interface Circuits, and Application Logic
• Testing of Interface Circuits, Application Logic, NI works, and commissioning
• Experience in Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) and Digital Communication installations (preferred)

Experience Criteria Based on Employment Type:

• For PSU/Central Govt./Railways Employees: Must currently be in the pay scale of ₹60,000 – 1,80,000 (IDA) / Level 9 (CDA) or have at least 2 years’ experience in ₹50,000 – 1,60,000 (IDA) / Level 7 (CDA).
• For Public Sector Banks/Other Government Organizations (Non-CDA/IDA Pay Scale): Must have 5 years of experience and currently earn a CTC of at least ₹16 LPA.
• For Private Sector Candidates: Minimum 5 years of experience with relevant responsibilities.

Selection Process

The selection process will include:

1. Written Exam and/or Interview
2. Document Verification before the interview. Candidates must bring original certificates.
3. Medical Fitness Check: Candidates must be in sound health and free from color blindness.
4. Surety Bond: Selected candidates must sign a bond of ₹3 lakhs to serve IRCON for at least 3 years.
