Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited is a 50:50 Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) jointly owned by the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat. It is responsible for implementing a rail-based Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) in Gujarat. GMRC plays a crucial role in enhancing urban mobility and infrastructure, making public transportation more efficient and sustainable.

Salary Structure

• For Contract Basis: Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000 (IDA Pattern) + allowances and perks as per GMRC norms
• For Deputation Basis: As per the standard terms & conditions of deputation
• For Post-Superannuation Basis: Consolidated pay for retired officers from Government organizations

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, or Instrumentation & Control from a recognized university/institution.

Work Experience

• For General Manager Level:
  • Minimum 17 years of post-qualification executive experience
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Metro Rail, Railways, or a similar sector
  • Must have worked in IDA pay scale of Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000 OR for at least 2 years in IDA pay scale of Rs. 1,00,000 – 2,60,000
  • Private sector candidates should have a minimum CTC of Rs. 2,50,000 per month

• For Chief General Manager Level:
  • Minimum 20 years of post-qualification executive experience
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Metro Rail, Railways, or a similar sector
  • Must have worked for at least 4 years in IDA pay scale of Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000
  • Private sector candidates should have a minimum CTC of Rs. 2,50,000 per month for 4 years at the GM level
• For Post-Superannuation Basis:
  • Retired officials must have at least 17 years (GM level) or 20 years (CGM level) of post-qualification executive experience
  • Must have worked in IDA scale of Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000 OR CDA Pay Matrix Level 14 (7th CPC)

Selection Process
