The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Ltd., a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, is inviting applications for the post of General Manager (Inspection) on Deputation / Post Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE) basis. This position is crucial for the inspection, testing, and commissioning of ‘RS-17’ Rolling Stock at Sricity (near Chennai). Vacancy Details

Salary / Pay Scale

• For PRCE Basis: Rs. 1,82,500/- per month (Consolidated Salary)
• For Deputation Basis: Parent department pay plus deputation allowance as per government rules

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Required Degree: B.E. (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent from a Government-recognized University/Institute.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of service at the Gazetted/Executive level.
• At least 10 years of experience in inspecting railway or metro coach manufacturing.
• The candidate should be well-versed in working in a computerized environment and must be free from disciplinary (D&AR) and vigilance cases.

Pay Scale Eligibility

• For Deputation Basis:
  • Officers working in CDA pay scale Level-14 (Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200) as per the 7th CPC, or
  • Officers working in IDA pay scale Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000 in any Government organization/PSU/Metro with the required experience.
• For PRCE Basis:
  • Retired Officers from CDA pay scale Level-14 (Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200) or higher.
  • Retired Officers from IDA pay scale Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000 or higher.

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for the inspection of railway/metro coach manufacturing and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards. They will also coordinate with different stakeholders to oversee the testing and commissioning of rolling stock.

Selection Process
