Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a B.Tech in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree from a government-recognized university/institute.

Work Experience

1. The applicant must have at least 20 years of experience in Group Executive level.
2. Should be working for at least two years in SAG or equivalent grade, with a pay scale of:
   • Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000 (IDA)
   • Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200 (Level-14 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix) (CDA)
3. Candidates from Government/PSUs/Metro Projects who have previous private sector experience may also apply, provided they submit proof of executive service.

Desirable Experience

• Minimum five years of experience in planning, tendering, and executing large-scale infrastructure projects in Metro/Railways.
• Expertise in underground metro construction, including tunnels.
• Familiarity with internationally funded projects covering all phases such as planning, bidding, execution, commissioning, and post-commissioning.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements of international funding institutions.
• Experience in railway infrastructure like track installation, signaling, electrification, and rolling stock.
• Understanding of safety regulations in railway construction, including certifications from Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (CMRS).

Key Responsibilities

As Project Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of metro projects by handling:

• Overall project management, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring construction activities.
• Managing safety and quality control in civil construction.
• Overseeing tendering processes, contract administration, and budget control.
• Coordinating with various railway-related disciplines.
• Securing necessary clearances and statutory approvals.
• Managing land acquisition, traffic diversions, and rehabilitation of affected businesses and individuals.

Selection Process

2. Surety Bond: Selected candidates on absorption basis must sign a Rs. 3,00,000 Surety Bond to serve the organization for a minimum of three years. They must also provide a three-month notice before resigning.
3. Medical Fitness: Candidates must meet the required physical and medical fitness standards.
4. Probation: Selected candidates will undergo a one-year probation period, including training.
