Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit:
- General/EWS candidates: 21 to 35 years
- Age Relaxation: 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PwD (General), 13 years for PwD (OBC), and 15 years for PwD (SC/ST)
- Essential Qualification:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – must have passed the CA exam from a recognized body.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, or auditing.
- At least 1 year in handling books in a PSU or public sector environment.
- Familiarity with Public Sector financial regulations, government accounting standards, and statutory reporting requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure that financial statements align with Indian GAAP and government accounting guidelines, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Taxation & Government Compliance
- Manage corporate tax, GST, and other statutory tax obligations, ensuring full compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Audit Oversight
- Lead internal and external audit processes, addressing any discrepancies or issues that arise during the audit.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial control systems to ensure accuracy, integrity, and transparency in financial operations.
Accounting Operations
- Supervise daily accounting tasks, including handling accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Government & Statutory Reporting
- Ensure all statutory reports are submitted in a timely and accurate manner, meeting all legal requirements.
Strategic Financial Support
- Offer financial guidance to senior management to help enhance organizational financial performance and decision-making.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the junior accounting team, providing necessary training, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and fostering growth within the department.
