BPCL is offering exciting career opportunities for the positions of Junior Executive (Quality Assurance) and Secretary. Selected candidates will be placed in various locations across India and will be expected to contribute to the corporation’s growth and excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
Junior Executive (Quality Assurance)
Educational Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Chemistry (3-year course) with specialization in Organic, Physical, Inorganic, or Analytical Chemistry from a recognized university. A minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) is required, with a relaxation to 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering (3-year course) from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA). The relaxation to 55% is applicable for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting quality testing and analyzing data to ensure product excellence.
- Operating mobile laboratories for on-site testing at retail outlets and customer premises.
- Aligning quality assurance processes with product specifications and customer requirements.
- Ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
- Managing NABL Accreditation, LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), and Proficiency Testing (PT).
- Handling documentation, regulatory compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Developing strategies for continuous improvement in quality testing.
Work Experience Requirements
Candidates should have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a laboratory setting within the Petroleum, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical industry.
Desired Skills
- Strong understanding of testing procedures and hands-on experience with laboratory equipment.
- Work experience in ISO/IEC:17025:2017 / NABL-accredited laboratories.
- Proficiency in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
Upper Age Limit
The upper age limit for General and EWS candidates is 29 years as of 1st January 2025. Age relaxations apply for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per government norms, with a maximum cumulative relaxation of 10 years.
Secretary
Educational Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree (3-year course) with at least 70% marks in aggregate (or equivalent CGPA), with a relaxation to 65% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Class XII and Class X with at least 70% marks in aggregate (or equivalent CGPA), relaxed to 65% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- A Diploma/Certification in Admin Secretarial & PA, Executive Assistant, Secretarial Practice, or Office Management (minimum 6 months duration) is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing emails, tracking pending responses, and organizing daily schedules.
- Coordinating and scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Preparing and organizing documents, reports, and presentations.
- Handling incoming phone calls and providing accurate information.
- Serving as the primary point of contact between internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducting research and gathering information to support decision-making.
- Managing travel arrangements (both domestic and international).
- Ensuring proper documentation, maintaining MIS records, and managing filing systems.
Work Experience Requirements
Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant experience as a Secretarial Assistant, Secretary, or similar role.
Desired Skills
- Strong proficiency in both spoken and written communication in English and Hindi.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of shorthand with good typing speed and accuracy is preferable.
Upper Age Limit
The upper age limit for General and EWS candidates is 29 years as of 1st January 2025, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories.
Medical Standards
- Candidates must pass a Pre-Employment Medical Examination conducted by BPCL-authorized medical professionals.
- PwBD candidates must meet all other physical requirements except for the specified disability for which relaxation is granted.
Salary & Benefits
The pay scale for Junior Executive (Quality Assurance) and Secretary is ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000, with an initial basic pay of ₹30,000 per month. Additional benefits include:
